ESIGN Consent

This Electronic Signature (ESIGN) Consent applies to all records, disclousures, and communications provided to you by City Bus Transit related to our services and your transit accounts.
1. Electronic Delivery of Communications
You agree and consent to receive electronically all communications, agreements, documents, notices, and disclosures ("Communications") that we provide in connection with your City Bus Transit account and your use of our services. Communications include:
- Agreements and policies, including but not limited to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Transaction receipts or confirmations.
- Account statements, history, and ticket purchase receipts.
- Notifications of service updates or changes to terms.
2. Means of Communication
We will provide these Communications to you by posting them on our website, through mobile application push notifications, or by emailing them to the primary email address listed on your account profile.
3. Hardware and Software Requirements
In order to access and retain electronic Communications, you will need the following computer hardware and software:
- A device with an Internet connection (e.g., computer, smartphone, or tablet).
- A current, compatible web browser (such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox).
- A valid email address where you can receive email.
- Sufficient storage space to save past Communications or an installed printer to print them.
4. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to receive Communications electronically by contacting us at support@citybustransit.com. If you fail to provide or if you withdraw your consent to receive Communications electronically, City Bus Transit reserves the right to either deny your application for an account, restrict or deactivate your account, or charge you additional fees for paper copies.
5. Updating Your Contact Information
It is your responsibility to keep your primary email address up to date so that City Bus Transit can communicate with you electronically. You understand and agree that if we send you an electronic Communication but you do not receive it because your email address on file is incorrect, blocked by your service provider, or you are otherwise unable to receive electronic Communications, we will be deemed to have provided the Communication to you.
